What is Peer Pressure?
Peers influence your life, even if you do not realize it, just by spending time with you. You learn from them, and they learn from you. It is only human nature to listen to and learn from other people in your age group.
Negative peer pressure is when someone who is a friend or part of a group you belong to, makes you feel that you have to do something to be accepted.
Wanting to feel part of something also can put pressure on you to act in certain ways. You could be experiencing peer pressure if youare acting in certain ways because you want to be accepted by the people you hang out with. You might be doing something you wouldnot normally do, or aren’t doing something you want to do.
